Exodus 12 : 1-6

And the Lord spoke unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying.

This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.

Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:

And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.

Your Lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or the goats:

And ye shall keep it up until the fourteen day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.

Once again, I greet you in the sustaining name of our Lord and Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ. I give him praise that despite all that is taking place in the world around us, in the churches around us and in our homes, the grace of God is keeping us. I want to remind you, as Moses commanded the head of the home in his day to be responsible for his household. Our prophet said this in the message

63–0901M Token, par. 362

Believe, for safety. Then apply, see. Believe for…Here is what you want to believe for. See, you want your own safety. You believe for your safety, and then apply the Token for the whole family. See? You say,” How can I do that?” Claim It! If it worked on you, then you and the Word becomes one. Amen! Amen! See? See, It works for both of you. You and the Word are one, then apply it to your children, apply it to your loved ones.

As this plague drags on, our faith will be tested more than ever before. The tempter will come at us from all sides. So stay strong in the Lord. We can’t see each other to give a helping hand if one is slipping, to help pull him or her back. But as you look in your mirror every day to be certain that you are presentable before you meet the public, the Word of God is the Mirror we should look into to be certain that the Lord accepts what we see looking back at us. Let me bring back to your memory a warning of our Prophet in the message:

65-0217 A man running from the presence of the Lord, par. 78.

But it’s easy to go the way the world goes. It’s easy to flow down the stream.

Go out there and set down in the river, with your boat. You get your oars and start pulling up against the current; you don’t make much time, and it goes hard. But you just once let loose the oars and watch how fast you pass the trees, going down, but look where you’re going!

When things are floating easy, remember, you’re going towards a- a great cataract down there, of some sort. You’re going towards the falls, and it won’t be long you’ll be going over that falls. Just floating with the world, easy, the way it goes, you don’t want that. No, Sir.

There is less sacrifice at this time. We don’t have to make our way to the church three times a week, so it will naturally move us to take it a little easy. Let us try not to do that. It will do us good to keep our services going with our family. Let us try to get closer to the Lord and with each other.

May the Lord bless and keep you by His grace.

Your brother in Christ, Brother Malcolm Webster.
